Meanwhile Use Office and Restaurant

Forming part of a large-scale regeneration project in East London, we were asked to scope, project manage and quantity survey, the development of a new 10-year 'meanwhile use' office and restaurant. This involved extensive public and stakeholder engagement sessions, the procurement and appointment of the professional team on behalf of the client and budget control during the design process along with production of master programme and risk assessment. Tendering and contract procurement of JCT design and build contract with main contractors and executive reporting.
The development is a Low Carbon building designed for disassembly and the circular economy in line with recent GLA policy
EV Charge Point Strategy for New Development and Existing Estate
To increase residents access to electric charging points on a large development, we were asked to evaluate and produce a suitable EVCP retrofit and procurement strategy. This involved the survey of existing EVCP provision and passive infrastructure, research of most appropriate EVCP company for both client and residents along with suitability of new infrastructure for available grant funding, study of client billing options and operational cost alignment and roll out of billing to Charge point users.

Conversion of Retail Space into Marketing Suite

We are appointed to project manage, from inception, the design and fit out of a new state-of-the-art marketing suite which includes obtaining all technical and compliance consents with TFL including a bespoke M&E solution. On behalf of our client we produced a detailed project brief, tendered and scored suitable interior designers and contractors leading to their appointment for the works and installation. Our role enabled the marketing suite to be procured within client's budget along with an agreed sign off procedure and client approval milestones.
Conversation of Grade 2* listed building into Education space and Cafe
On behalf of Buckinghamshire New University we are Project Manager and Quantity surveyor for the conversion of the fabulous former Brunel Engine shed in High Wycombe into high quality education space complete with café, co- worker facility and dedicated modern equipped offices. This grade 2* listed building will utilise the latest technology to create a highly sustainable space with a SKA gold rating which is to be used by the University to host both public and private events.
The careful selection of materials and equipment will help deliver a fantastic project for our client.

Our services involve providing initial cost advice, site specific cost analysis and savings plus design advice along with cost plans, procurement strategy and tender analysis to select most suitable contractor.
